Madison Keyes

Madison Coburn Keyes joined the Smith Law Firm as an associate attorney in January 2021 with a diverse legal background and serves as the firm’s Paraquat and Roundup Manager. Madison has extensive regulatory and litigation experience. Having practiced before public service commissions throughout the United States, represented state and local government boards, and worked in the government contracting sector and healthcare legal sphere, Madison’s background provides a unique perspective for Smith Law Firm’s clients.

Madison graduated summa cum laude from the University of Mississippi with a B.A. in Public Policy Leadership, where she was also inducted in the University’s Hall of Fame. She earned her J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law, graduating summa cum laude and second in her class. While in law school, Madison received five Outstanding Student awards, served on the Executive Board for the Mississippi Law Journal, was one of five students nationally selected to attend a seminar hosted by the National Association of Bond Lawyers, and was selected by the Mississippi Bar for a sponsored position with the Mississippi Women’s Bar Evelyn Gandy Lecture Series.

Madison is published in the Wake Forest Journal of Law and Policy (6 Wake Forest J. L. & Pol’y 503 (2016)), Mississippi Municipalities Magazine, Memphis Medical News, and with the University of Mississippi Sally McDonnell Barksdale Honors College. Madison is a member of the American Bar Association, Jackson Young Lawyers, and Mississippi Association of Justice, where she serves on the Policy Committee and is a member of the Women’s Caucus.

Madison Keyes is licensed to practice in Mississippi and Arizona.
